En 1988, Powell-Peralta publicó un anuncio de "Se busca artista" en TWS y Thrasher. El "ganador" del concurso conseguiría un trabajo en el departamento de arte de Powell-Peralta en Santa Bárbara. El artista seleccionado fue Sean Cliver, principalmente porque su estilo de ilustración se parecía mucho al de VCJ. El primer diseño de mazo de Cliver, el Barbee Ragdoll, se apartó del aspecto tradicional de VCJ, pero cuando llegó el momento de actualizar el dragón Caballero, Sean emuló al maestro. En algún momento después, alguien apodó al gráfico Cab "Ban This" Dragon ya que apareció de manera destacada en ese video (piense en una secuencia en cámara lenta).

Las barajas de reedición de Powell-Peralta son reproducciones cercanas de sus contrapartes de los años 80, con los gráficos y la forma originales Pro, el logotipo gráfico superior y la punta de cuchara cóncava. Son fabricados por nuestros socios en México o en nuestra fábrica de patinetas de Ventura, que todavía está dirigida por algunos de los mismos artesanos que los fabricaron originalmente.
