Choosing Nylon 6, a material crafted from recycled fishing nets, was pivotal due to its specific structural properties, high mechanical strength, lightweight nature, and mechanical dampening qualities, allowing it to flex and feel organic like wood. No ordinary plastic possesses these critical characteristics.
