The Powell Peralta OG Ripper Checker Reissue Skateboard Deck in Blue Stain brings back one of the most recognized graphics in skateboarding. The Ripper was illustrated in 1983 by legendary Powell Peralta artist Vernon Courtlandt Johnson and first appeared as a “Bones Sold Here” dealer window sticker before moving onto t-shirts and decks.
This Powell Peralta reissue deck keeps the original 1980s look alive with top and bottom graphics, shape, and concave inspired by the classic release. Made with U.S. hard rock maple and glue that meets Powell Peralta specifications, it is built for riders and collectors who appreciate old school skateboard history.
With a 10" width, 30" length, 16.25" wheelbase, 3" nose, 5.95" tail, Shape 265, and SP0 concave, the Powell Peralta OG Ripper Checker Reissue Deck offers a wide, stable platform with a vintage feel. The Blue Stain finish and checker background give the iconic Ripper graphic a strong display look while keeping it ready for an old school setup.

Powell-Peralta re-issue decks are close reproductions of their 1980’s counterparts, featuring the original top and bottom graphics, shape and concave. Made with our partner in Mexico. Materials include U.S. hard rock maple and glue that meets our specifications, warranted against delamination for their useful life. Shape and graphics created in Santa Barbara, CA.
